Electrical Controls & Instrumentation
The Electrical Controls & Instrumentation program combines classroom instruction and hands-on lab learning to prepare students for a variety of careers in the industrial maintenance field. Students learn design, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance skills of electrical and mechanical systems used in industrial manufacturing and process control environments. Some of the topics covered in this program are AC/DC circuits, motor control systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC’s), instrumentation, pneumatic systems and mechanical drive systems.
