Instructor-Led Training
This is the perfect fit for companies that would like to train several employees on the same industrial maintenance topic. An instructor delivers lecture-style training on the theory portions of industrial maintenance and then guides the participants in hands-on learning activities using Northeast Tech's industrial maintenance training simulators. This training can be held at our Industrial Maintenance Training Lab in the MidAmerica Career Center.
Instructor-Facilitated Training
This is a great solution for a company with several employees to train on a variety of topics or those who are at different skill levels. The theory portion of the training is computerized so that participants can work through the material at their own pace. An instructor is present the entire time to answer questions about the theory portions or to assist with technical issues. As students work through the curriculum to a hands-on activity, the instructor is there to assist the student as they complete these portions of training on Northeast Tech's industrial maintenance training simulators.
Online/Hands-On Training
For companies that would like employees to complete theory portions of training on their own schedule, the online/hands-on training model may be the best solution. Participants can log in to Northeast Tech's online curriculum and work through the theory portion of the training any time. Our coordinators then work with the company to schedule a time for participants to access the Northeast Tech Industrial Maintenance Lab so participants can complete the hands-on portions of the training with the guidance of an instructor.
Open-Enrollment Opportunities
Northeast Tech offers many open-enrollment classes throughout the year. These are a great fit for a company when just one or two individuals need training. Coordinators work closely with industry partners to determine which topics are the most in-demand. Typically Northeast Tech's open-enrollment training opportunities are presented using the instructor-led model, but if it was determined that our industry partners needed training on several topics simultaneously, the delivery method could be modified to an instructor-facilitated model.
Industrial Maintenance Skills Assessments
Northeast Tech understands that determining where your employees are in their level of industrial maintenance knowledge is critical. Our coordinators can administer and evaluate industrial maintenance assessments at your company or in one of our labs. Assessments can be written or computerized. Results are presented to employers to help determine a starting point for a customized training plan.
