Summer is coming to an end, the weather is changing and schools getting back into session. For many people, that means falling into a new routine. If you are seeking to improve the effectiveness of your routine this fall, Northeast Technology Center (NTC) may have the solution.
NTC’s Business and Industry Services division has a Franklin Covey Certified trainer on staff. Sara Stephens, a business teacher who specializes in offering customized organizational and leadership development training, will be starting another session of her 7 Habits of Highly Effective People training in September. This time she’s bringing the training to the citizens of Pryor.
“The 7 Habits training is for any individual who wants to improve their personal effectiveness and relationships with other people,” said Stephens. “This is true in both their professional and personal life, because effectiveness in one can positively impact the other.”
The 7 Habits training helps participants not only learn to be more effective, it also shows them how to use processes and tools to live and apply the 7 Habits every day. No matter how competent a person is, he or she will not have sustained and lasting success unless they are able to effectively lead themselves, influence, engage and collaborate with others, and continually improve and renew their capabilities.
“In today’s world where everyone is busier than ever before, efficiency is key,” said Stephens. “The 7 Habits training is the industry standard on teaching people to be more effective. Because better trained employees are more beneficial to a business, we encourage employers to send their key people to this training.”
The 7 Habits training is scheduled to be held on select Tuesdays in September and October, starting September 6. Each session will last from 9-11 a.m. and will take place at the Hope Coalition, located at 431 S. Wood in Pryor. The cost of the class is $179 per person.
