Enrollment opens for practical nursing program at Afton campus
The practical nursing (PN) program at Northeast Tech’s Afton campus is now accepting applications for its next cohort of aspiring nurses. Classes for this cohort begin in July of 2018, but because the application process can be somewhat lengthy, the window for enrollment is already open.

Superintendent's Message

Facility projects at our Pryor, Kansas and Business and Industry Services (BIS) sites are progressing nicely. Steel for the Cosmetology and Multipurpose building at Kansas is scheduled for delivery this week. It's exciting when steel starts going up - that's when the building starts taking shape. The Electrical Trades project at Pryor is scheduled for completion in mid-March. Instructor, Rodney Darnell and his students are eager to get into their new home! Lastly, the face-lift at our BIS building should wrap up in two to three weeks. The new entry into this facility is looking fantastic. Besides our facility projects, many other exciting events are on tap for the spring semester.

The contest “season” will be upon us very soon. Students from all programs will be preparing for competitions at the local, regional/district, state and national levels. Skill and leadership contests are a great opportunity for our students to showcase all that they have learned during their time at Northeast Tech. I want to personally offer my encouragement to all of our competitors. We will share results and successes from contests in upcoming editions of TechKnow.

Keep up the good work!
